Letter to our fellows

1)  ENGLISH,  12-11-2012

Letter to the members of board of  FEAMC and the visitors of the Rome FEAMC Congress 2012

Dear Catholic medical fellows,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

dear members of board and responsibles of FEAMC and FIAMC in Europe,

travelling this week to the Rome FEAMC- and AMCI congress,

our best wishes vor You and the FEAMC-Congress from 15.-18.11.2012 in ROME from the members of board and the desk of BKÄ- Union of Catholic Physicians Germany .

Have a nice voyage, good lectures and fruitful talks with the Catholic colleagues from Italy and all Europe.

We are with You in memory!

Please allow a comment:

We do not take part at this important FEAMC-conference:

a) because after diverse talks with FEAMC- and FIAMC-responsibles during the congresses of Danzig  (2008) and Lourdes (2010) hwe have had the impression, that in these years there is no place for us / our medical association and medical initiative and also for our view of Catholic medical work of FEAMC an in the European countries.

b) because our future Statuts as Catholic association still not jet are acknowledged by the German Espiscopal Conference:
BKÄ-UCPG is not offically acknowedged as Catholic medical association.

(NB: In the far away August of 2010 (!) we had presentated the well formulated UCPG-Statutes at the Bonn office of the German Episcopal Conference

For us this ecclesiastical silence of the German roman-Catholic church is heavily supportable…)

Since 2005 we are at lean tolerated by the Archdiocesis of Munich and Freising…)

Therefore we dedicate our energy at the further work of UCPG-construction in Germany and we hope in a soon approbation of our medical association by the German Catholic church.

Our burning desire and proposals:

We see coming now the time of acting:

Please notice, dear colleagues:
In some European countries there were established now further Catholic medical associations out of district of FEAMC  (Germany: 2; Vienna/Austria, France, Italy):

a) Perhaps the members of board of FEAMC can make some steps forward to these new associations,
to speak with these Catholic colleagues and to try to integrate them really in the FEAMC-federation?

b) Perhaps some one is interested in informing and interesting himself for their Catholic medical work?

c) Perhaps notice, that there are burning, interesting topics of medicine, religion and life of Catholic associations, which could be treated?

d)  Perhaps the members of Borad of FEAMC in the meantime have found a programe for further organisatory development of Catholic medical work in Europe , In FEAMC, in each country?

At our website www.bkae.org   (some pages in English and Italian too) we have dedicated some special sites regarding FEAMC and have published some ideas for a Europeanwide Catholic work from the point of our view.

Let us pray for this important issues and a good collaboration among Catholic physicians in Europe. Thank You.

In the hope of this and Your comprehension and in the delight as Catholic physicians we sent many greetings and best wishes for You and the Rome congress -

Yours sincerely
