Dear visitor,
dear medical fellow, student of medicine and clergyman,


dhe medical association of German Catholi physicians UCPG / BKÄ is in contact with the rappresentatives of the Ponteficial Council for Health Workers in Germany, to push the national and international Catholic medical work.

In this sense belongs the reciprocal formation and training and the collaboration with the national members of that Council ('impulse-givers') and the change of ideas.

Also modern, acute and difficult, critical themes have to be treated. The expression 'Catholic physician' is not a matter of course, but needs a 'renovation', an 'aggiornamento' and more pubblicity - for a good cause.

At 15-1-2015 Munich Catholic doctors wrote to all their colleagues:

Dear Catholic medical fellows and priests,

the German medical association BKÄ - Union of Catholic Physicians Germany - calls all their Catholic fellows and other collaboraters in the health-care services for PRAYER for the very ill

      Exc. Archbishop Zygmunt Zimowski,

since 2009 President of the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Health Care Workers.

He is treated in a Warzaw Hospital, suffering by pancreas-carcinoma.

-  FIAMC-Congress 2010 in Lourdes,(page)
-  2013 World Day of the Sick in Eichstätt / Altötting / Germany,
-  autumn 2014 in preparation of the last concil-assembly in Rome.

Regarding the collaboration of Catholic BKÄ-doctors with the two German members of the Ponfeficial Council of Health-Workers there are the following questions:



- How ist the colloaboration among the two national members of the PCH?

- How operates the PCH in the German speaking countries?

- Do You have an internal, direct communication with the center in Rome
 (in English, in Italian)?

- regarding the handling of 'modern + delicate + critical' themes?
(Brain-death, abortion, day-after-pill, homoepathy,  doctor & priest, ...)

- How looks Your work /acting in the PCH?
(Also at a national and regional level...)
Which projects are actually treated?

- Do You have an Input of medical PCH-members and the internjtional Catholic associations of FIAMC und FEAMC?

- Do You receive 'impulses' of German doctors?

- Do You give impulses to the German / Austrian / Swiss Catholic physicians-fellowship?
