Saint Luke - short

dear medical fellow and medica student,
Saint Luke is the patron of the physicians.
The BKÄ-UCPG-medical association advocates the adoration of this saint patron.
The Catholic medical association BKÄ-UCPG, Union of Catholic Physicians Germany, Munich, gives informations about Saint Luke, the patron of physicians, surgeons and painters.
In all the world saint Luke is adored by the physicians, in some places there are so called 'masses of Saint Luke' (mehr)
In Munich too there is a tradition of Catholic doctors, organizing the regional 'St. Luke's day' (10 October):
Until 1990 by the Munich St. Luke's Doctor's Guilt, since 2005 by the new BKÄ - UCPG-regional section.
History
1) In Munich too is practised this tradition by the former St. Luke's Doctors Guilt, since 2005 by the Munich section of BKÄ-UCPG-members.
These 'St. Luke's days' are presentations with Holy Mass, speech and a welcome.
2) In PADUA (Northern Italy, Cathedral of St. Giustina) there is the sepulture of Saint Luke.

'Allmighty God,
der du deinem Knecht Lukas, dem Arzt, deinen Heiligen Geist gegeben hast,
daß er das Evangelium der Liebe und der heilenden Kräfte deines Sohnes zur Tat werden lasse,
wirke in deiner Kirche die gleiche Kraft und Liebe,
daß wir nach Leib und Seele geheilt werden durch denselben deinen Sohn Jesus Christus, unseren Herrn.'
