Sts. Cosmas & Damian - short
Dear Visitor,
dear medical fellow and medical student,
the Munich medical association BKÄ, Union of Catholic Physicians Germany, gives informations about Sts. Cosmas & Damian, the saint patrons of physicians and pharmacists.Exspecially the Munich regional group of UCPG-doctors give honor to these saint patrons.
Monthly worships (each 3.rd. Saturday, 11.a.m.) with intercession-prayers in the St. Michael's church in the center of the city of Munich.
In the late summer (26.9.) will be held a solemn memory-mass for these saints. Since 2009 there is a sepcial 'Diocesan Doctor's Day" in Munich in occasion of the memory day.
In all the world Catholic and ortodoxe physicians and pharmacists are looking to Munich , because in the Munich St. Michael's church there is the precious, golden Shrine with the relics of their saint patrons.
